cosin scientific software AG and Applus+ IDIADA enter into a new distribution agreement for digital right management (DRM) protected high quality virtual proving ground data.
cosin scientific software AG, a global leader in tire simulation software for virtual vehicle prototyping and services, today announces that it has strengthened the relationship with its longtime partner, Applus+ IDIADA, to make high quality road data of the IDIADA Spain Virtual Proving Ground available to their customers. cosin scientific software AG now is reselling the virtual proving ground data of IDIADA under a DRM system.
Providing a digital twin of the IDIADA proving ground adds a missing piece in virtual vehicle development. Customers can now experience their virtual vehicles on a driving simulator and the real car on the proving ground in a seamless way. This saves time and cost for creating a physical prototype and allows a direct comparison of virtual and physical measurement data. Vehicle and tire design processes are accelerated and become most cost efficient.
